I did, indeed, complete that pillowcase I always intended to make from that worn-out shirt:

It was perfectly good fabric! Why throw it away?

For $2 (the price of a zipper), I transformed an old but beloved shirt into a shiny new pillowcase for my hardest-to-fit pillow! That velour fabric was tricky, too. I am seriously proud of myself for doing this. I have that keepsake preserved in pillowcase form, and I have something I wanted that probably would've cost me more than two bucks. Awesome!
