So much for equivalent work.

Official word on work-from-home:

1) It's only part-time, with no pay rise; I may actually have to take a pay cut. [edit: Which, apparently, is permitted under the ADA. And yes, they have covered their arses nicely by offering me part-time work from the facility. Never mind that the facility is part of the problem.]

2) Nothing on the website about benefits. HR didn't mention losing mine. Perhaps I will get lucky in this respect.

3) While HR can keep me active for two weeks starting, um, this past Monday, the recruiter only finds out about positions a week in advance. Currently, there are no positions available. I can put myself in the queue and that's it.

4) There is absolutely no guarantee I'd be hired. If I tick off the little "Disabled" box, I may have a better chance due to affirmative action. If they want absolute proof of that, I can point them to my record and my doctor.

And my unofficial conclusion:

5) I should probably make that appointment with DSS now. It'll give me something to do while Sky's in England.
